Deans for Impact

Deans for Impact is a national organization committed to improving student-learning outcomes by changing the way this country prepares teachers. Developed around its membership of respected Deans from programs across the country, including Ellen McIntyre, Dean of the Cato College of Education at UNC Charlotte, Deans for Impact seeks to transform educator preparation programs, elevate the teaching profession, and prepare novice teachers for the classroom on day 1.

The Belk Foundation is a private, family foundation that invests deeply in public education—specifically K-3 achievement and excellent teachers and leaders.
