The Academy for Qualitative Research at UNC Charlotte was formed to support faculty and students at UNC Charlotte interested in qualitative research. AQR's goals include:

• Create ongoing dialogue about qualitative research across academic disciplines and departments at UNC Charlotte.
• Provide collegial support to faculty and students who conduct qualitative research and help ensure the quality of qualitative research conducted by our masters and doctoral students.
• Share research ideas and projects among faculty and students.
• Support each other in our reading and writing of qualitative research.
