The Charlotte Teachers’ Circle (CTC) is accepting applications from middle schools to take part in an administration of the American Mathematics Competition AMC8 on November 17 at UNC Charlotte. The total cost to the school is $25. Note that this represents a $30 savings over the cost of registering 20 students for the contest through the AMC itself. You can bring up to 20 students to UNCC. If you want to test more than 20 students, you must register your school in the usual was at http://www.unl.edu/amc/

The deadline for this application is October 20. I do not have to receive the check by then, however.

The contest will be held on the ground floor of the Fretwell building, number 45 on the map

Parking on Saturdays is easy. Just don’t park in a handicap place (unless you have a handicap sticker). We will start at 8:30 AM and finish up at 11:30 AM.
