North Carolina Council for the Social Studies Student Teacher Scholarship
Awarded annually to a college or university student who seeks teacher licensure in social studies.
Who is eligible?
- Undergraduate students
- Post-baccalaureate licensure students
Eligibility Requirements
- Must seek elementary, middle or secondary teacher licensure with a concentration or major in social studies
- Must have completed at least 18 semester hours in the social sciences by the time of Student Teaching
- Must be enrolled in Student Teaching for the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded
