The Joint 2006
ARS/ASA Convention Garden Tour 13-May-2006 |
|
All of the gardens were beautiful - just not all of my pictures. Others will be added as time allows. The Tours on Saturday, May 13, took us to: The Gardens of Charlie Evans and Nancy and Barry Bosworth Suburban Maryland near Brookside Gardens A focal point of this tour will be the spectacular main 54 acre campus of Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, MD. Brookside has many separate gardens in its complex including a conservatory, rose garden, perennial garden, fragrance garden, aquatic garden, and a large azalea collection. The Kinzie Garden in Bethesda is a 1-1/2 acre property resembling a park. It contains hundreds of azaleas and specimen plantings. The garden surrounds the home of Jane Kinzie, the founder and co-owner of Kinzie Farms Nursery & Landscaping. The Miller Garden, surrounding the home of Janet and Bill Miller, is a half-acre property located just outside of the Washington Beltway in an area that has become known as West Bethesda. Gregg Garden Dianne and James Gregg in Potomac, MD. Close this window and return to Gardens 2006
