Literacy for Democracy Community and School Partners

LFD has several community partner sites: the greater Charlotte area and the First Ward area as well as Cabarrus County and Kannapolis, NC.  These communities have rich histories and strong identities, and both are long-time school and community partners with UNC Charlotte and the College of Education. Four partner schools are UNC Charlotte Professional Develop Schools (PDS). We also work with CMS schools across Charlotte
