Financial Aid

There is federal financial aid available to help you finance your education.  However, the amount available for post-baccalaureate students is different from the amount available for Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) students or Graduate Certificate in Teaching students.  For the Financial Aid Office, click here.

Master of Arts in Teaching or Graduate Certificate in Teaching students

If you are admitted to the Master of Arts in Teaching or to the Graduate Certificate in Teaching, you are eligible for federal financial aid at the graduate level of funding.

Post-baccalaureate students

You may have admitted to university as a post-baccalaureate student, because you are seeking licensure through the state or through the Regional Alternative Licensing Center (RALC), or because you are building up credits needed for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Teaching or the Master of Arts in Teaching.

If you are working with the RALC on your plan of study, be sure to fax that plan to the Graduate School when you apply as a post-baccalaureate student, so that you may qualify for financial aid.

If you are a post-baccalaureate student who is not following a RALC plan, you will become eligible for federal financial aid when you are fully admitted to the Graduate Certificate in Teaching or the Master of Arts in Teaching.
