How to Submit a Symposium Proposal

Papers presented in a symposium should be thematically related and complementary.  There should be an opportunity for dialogue, differing viewpoints, and audience comment.

The organizer of a symposium is responsible for identifying the appropriate topic, securing speakers, arranging for a chairperson, and inviting discussants.  If the symposium is accepted, the organizer assures that everyone named as a participant will be present at the meeting.  Should circumstances prevent a participant from attending, the organizer will secure a suitable replacement, and notify the NCARE President-Elect as soon as possible.

Only the organizer will be notified of the acceptance of a symposium.  The organizer is responsible for notifying individual participants of arrangements.
