The acquittal of George Zimmerman in the shooting of Trayvon Martin started a national conversation about race and racism that continues to this day. Part of that conversation includes how to approach talking about these subjects with children. Dr. Hank Harris, professor and chair of the UNC Charlotte Department of Counseling, joined a panel on WFAE's "Charlotte Talks" to share his professional and personal reflections on the topic.
