Bob Algozzine is a Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Co-Director of the Behavior and Reading Improvement Center. For twelve years, he was a faculty member in the Department of Special Education at the University of Florida where he was responsible for research and personnel preparation in the area of behavior disorders. He has more than 250 professional publications on varied topics in special education. Two recent publications are 50 Simple Ways To Make Teaching Fun and Teacher's Little Book of Wisdom are very popular with teachers. Kate Algozzine is a retired teacher of gifted and talented students. She has a Master's degree in special education and taught successfully in elementary schools in Florida and North Carolina for more than 15 years. She is currently a Research Associate with the Behavior and Reading Improvement Center. She has extensive experience free-lance writing and recently has developed informational materials for universities, colleges, and local businesses. She has authored a variety of literary products in professional as well as trade publications. |
