All faculty members possess advanced degrees in their fields. Most faculty have extensive experience working in schools.

Most Teacher Education Program courses enroll fewer than thirty students. Courses are taught exclusively by faculty members, not graduate students.

Many Teacher Education Program classes are offered as day, evening or weekend classes. Select classes are available online.

Scholarships and loans exist for qualified students. Some students receive $26,000 North Carolina Teaching Fellows scholarship loans.

Students gain extensive practical experience in school classrooms prior to graduation.
