Students who are admitted to undergraduate programs leading to licensure follow an individual program of coursework designed to meet the State Department of Public Instruction's (DPI's) requirements for licensure. The courses recommended include methods and techniques of education as well as courses in the chosen major or concentration. Students who complete the program requirements are recommended for licensure to the Department of Public Instruction by the University.
